The Siddha System of Medicine, an ancient Indian traditional healing system, offers a comprehensive approach to healthcare by integrating various modalities, including herbal medicine, yoga, meditation, and energy-based therapies. Among these practices, Kayakarpam and Musical Treatment are considered integral elements, deeply rooted in temple village festivals. This research article aims to explore the holistic potential of Kayakarpam and Musical Treatment within the Siddha System of Medicine and investigates their therapeutic nature and Mechanisms of action identified include antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory effects, modulation of gene expression, enhancement of mitochondrial function, and immune modulation, among others. Through an extensive literature review, field research, and controlled clinical studies, this research sheds light on the cultural significance, therapeutic benefits, and potential integration of these traditional healing practices into modern healthcare.
