Siddha Case Reports and Case Series - Special Issue
Vol. 5 No. 1 (2021)National Institute of Siddha (NIS) was established in 2004 to offer Post-Graduate couses in Siddha, to promote research activities (doctoral and epirical) in Siddha system, to act as a Centre for advanced studies in Siddha -- framing and updating of curriculum and syllabus for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Siddha courses.
The developmental activities of academic and clinical areas must be known to the scientists of other medical systems and the public. An exclusive Journal for Siddha system alone can fulfil this need. Starting a Journal and publishing it periodically from NIS is the need of the hour and this can motivate members of the Siddha faculty and students to develop interes in writing articles for which they have to do an in-depth study of literatures and promote research activities in Siddha institutions.
'Journal of Siddha' will presently try to cater to the needs of the medical scientists, students and common public. By this Journal, we have started on a long journey by which, we hope, we will be able to fulfil the requirements of this system to become globally popularized and accepted.

Special Issue : Siddha preventive and clinical management for COVID-19
Vol. 4 No. 1 (2020)The Journal of Siddha is the official journal of National Institute of Siddha. This special issue brought to you on the auspicious occasion of 4th Siddha day (02.01.2021). It covers "Siddha preventive and clinical management for COVID-19” – which aims to explore the role of Siddha medicine as a prophylaxis and a effective management tools helping to mitigate the COVID-19 disease. It also provides an up-to-date overview of strategies that can improve the prevention and boost the immunity of the population.
The editorial team congratulates the authors for contributing to this special issue with the information on possible role of Siddha medicine in COVID -19 in an excellent way. This issue may open new avenues of research in Siddha on COVID-19.
